The SkillsCommons repository has been developed with an open-source application called D-Space which has a worldwide community continuously improving the library services within the software. We have recently upgraded SkillsCommons to the latest version of D-Space to benefit from the creative innovations of the D-Space community.
You will find changes in how you will experience SkillsCommons, with some changes significantly improving your abilities to discover and download workforce development materials. Other changes will be “different” from what you might be used to so you’ll need to recognize these new ways. We expect these “differences” will be easy to learn.
We have created some simple videos of some of the new ways you can use the upgraded SkillsCommons. We hope that a quick review of these videos will help you quickly benefit from the improved capabilities of SkillsCommons.
